Today we woke up early, had a tasty breakfast & made our way to Evron Market. At the market we had a budget to buy ingredients to make lunch for our whole team that was healthy, well-presented & good value for money.
Teams prepared their lunch back at the chateau and the ultimate winners were Mrs Hall’s group with some delicious ham, cheese & salad baguettes.
Our PGL activities continue to be absolutely brilliant and have really highlighted the children’s resilience & support for each other! During our trip we have all taken part in the trapeze, challenge assault course (where we all got a bit soaked) climbing, abseiling & a sensory course!
Tonight we are surprising the children with escargot... who will be brave enough to try???
Our last night will be spent by the campfire, singing songs, roasting marshmallows & reflecting on our first week together as Year 6.
We are all having a wonderful time! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow-we’ll certainly be ready for a lie in on Saturday morning!
Please email Mrs Buesnel email@example.com should you have any queries about the French Trip as we want your child to feel excited and confident about attending the residential on the first day back to school.
New students and parents - should you wish to meet Mrs Buesnel or Mr Le Breton before the trip, we will be at Grouville School on Monday 3rd September until 2pm. You'd be more that welcome to pop in and say hello!
